The Oklahoma State University Rodeo Association began in 1946 when six students started practicing and competing together. In 1948, representatives of OSU Rodeo traveled to the first of many National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) rodeos and the team has been an active member of the association ever since.
The OSU Rodeo Team is home to three all-around national champions, two national champion
teams and six individual event national champions. By joining the team, you will join
a program that continues to produce numerous Central Plains Region champions and CFNR
qualifiers. In addition, the program has multiple alumni who are Hall of Fame inductees.
